September is officially over in a few hours, which has mixed feelings for some, but for me, I'm glad to say peace out to the 9th month in our yearly calender. So many difficult/negative things happened; I started school, grades have been up and down, haven't seen many of my friends, the weather has changed, and as October starts, that is when things really heat up at school with projects and essays going into overdrive mode. I wouldn't mind this transition if I had more time or was better prepared for things, but I'm not. Despite my uncertainties, I've stayed true to my mode of trying my best and staying strong because if I don't, school is going to get the best of me, which I don't want. I have my doubts, but I know I can do well this year and graduate! Hell, I'm already feeling better as I'm typing.
October and the rest of the future is uncertain, but I'm hoping things get better. Not just for me, but for all my friends and all the good, hard-working people in the world.

Having A Facebook?
Facebook is one of the most recognizable companies in the world, connecting billions of people daily. But for those who know me (or those who read my film review of "The Social Network"), they know I haven't had been on Facebook for three years. At the time, there were a variety of reasons why I got rid of it, with the most important being that I needed to focus on schoolwork. When I first off of it, it was hard not being on it all the time, but after awhile, it slowly disintegrated from my life. Now I don't even really miss it. Yet, as I approach three years off, I wonder if it's time to come back?
I'm wondering this because in one of my classes at school, they mentioned with the job market currently, it's a lot easier to get a job with social media. I didn't know if that was true since I don't know the job field that well, but thinking about it, it made sense. Jobs and companies can look at your Facebook or any resume site such as LinkedIn, and decide if you're the right person for the job. Since I'm a person who doesn't know what their future holds, maybe it'd be worth bringing back Facebook for that reason. Along with that, it could bring exposure to my blog, which is something every blogger wants. To be honest though, I think I'd want to bring Facebook back just to be able to connect with my friend's since they're all so far away, and texting can only work for so long.
Of course, there's concern with privacy and dividing time on it, but that concern is everywhere. Sites are better protected now, and I think I have more restraint than I used to. The question still remains if I really want to go back though, especially since so many people say Facebook is useless and it sucks (yet they can't get rid of their own Facebook). Whatever I decide though, there's no doubt social media and technology is the present and that's where the future is.
What do you all think though? Do you think Facebook is a necessity in life even with its pros and cons?

Good-bye Dexter Morgan
After days of being behind and hearing the controversy about the series finale of Showtime's hit show Dexter, I finally saw the last two episodes I missed, and like many, I have to agree that the show's finale was a huge letdown. Everything that happened was predictable, and while things were patched up, it seemed shoddy; not to mention unsatisfying. For those of you who haven't seen it, I won't spoil it for you. But honestly, if you never saw the series finale, you wouldn't be missing anything, whether you were a fan of the show or not.
I have to admit, I'm disappointed with Showtime because the first few seasons of Dexter were great (although season 3 stunk). Season 4 with John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer, left images and performances I'll never forget, but from there, the show lost direction and got ridiculous with its plot and villains. On the plus side, many characters were developed more, and the acting of the cast a whole got better. Not to mention, Michael C. Hall returned from cancer to play Dexter with his usual uncanny and enigmatic charm. Even though I support the death penalty for the most part, I don't support murder or serial killing, but like many people, I was just captured with the show and its relation to life. Dexter may not have been a perfect show for me, but it was a show I liked, and a place I could turn to Sunday nights. Now, it's time to find something new and say good-bye to Dexter for once and for all.

Building #19
Weeks ago, my parents and I went on a trip to a place I haven't been in ages, Building #19. If you've never heard of it, it's because they're only around the New England area. But even if you do live in the area, you still might not have ever heard of them. They're known for selling eclectic, unusual merchandise, and all their stores being different, but the truest way to describe Building #19 is to put it bluntly, junk! And I feel bad saying that, but going back there, I was disgusted with what I saw.
The place was disorganized, the people working there looked miserable, and the merchandise was shoddy. I know some of that is to be expected since Building #19 is basically a large discount or thrift store, and they buy things that are discontinued, damaged, etc, but I still expect more than what I saw. It's one thing to sell things cheap to customers, but to sell stuff that isn't good quality seems like bad business and bad politics. How does that help anyone at all?
In the end though, I don't want it to seem like I'm bashing Building #19. They're a business like any other, trying to help people who don't have as much, which I understand. I just wish the place was kept in better shape, or had a facelift, or something. Something to get it to this century. I used to love going to Building #19 as a child and shopping there, but now I'm hesitant stepping in another one. Of course, despite how I feel, I'm still glad there's some place helping people, even if the merchandise isn't perfect, because it's better to have something than nothing.

Pesky Sleep Habits
As I'm awake way earlier than I usually am, I can't help wishing I was asleep like most people, but I can't help it. Lately, I've had trouble sleeping for whatever reason. I go to sleep early, and I wake up early, or when I sleep late, I still wake up early. Every time it happens, I can't go back to sleep, almost as if I have insomnia. I'm not surprised this happens since weird sleeping habits run in my family, but it's a struggle when you have to go to school, or just need a good night's sleep to get over what's on your mind. I'm hoping my habits change, but at the same time, I'm hoping whatever is on my mind takes a break. I've had enough stress as it is, and don't need lack of sleep to be one of the new contributing problems. Life is tough, but at least I can say, only 3 months left of school.

My Favorite NFL Crew
One of the least thought about things in football is the pregame show, which is understandable because everyone just wants to get to the action. But to me, one of the things I enjoy most about football is the pregame shows because I think their analysts are the best at chemistry, humor, and most importantly, analysis. The Fox Crew is alright with their old guys, but that's what they are, old. NBC's crew is one I enjoy because I love Bob Costas, and I think Tony Dungy is an outstanding citizen, but when it comes to my favorite, it's the NFL Today on CBS!
What isn't there to love about The NFL Today's crew? They have a good lead man in James Brown, and guys with charisma, chemistry, and humor in Dan Marino, Shannon Sharpe, Boomer Esiason, and Coach Bill Cowher. I know everyone's favorite crew is different based on preference, but there's no doubt these guys know what they're talking about. They all succeeded on the field, and it has transpired over on screen, which is why whenever I want to get amped up for football, I'm always turned into The NFL Today with my guys.
Now, if only the New England Patriots could win the Super Bowl...

JOAH
I don't have much to say today because I'm so busy with schoolwork, but I thought I'd post this song by Jay Park called "Joah", which is one of the best K-Pop songs I've heard in a long time. Jay usually does hip-hop and R&B music, so I was surprised to hear a song of his that actually sounded pop orientated, but there's no doubt he has the skill to do anything. I'd say more, but I don't want to spoil the beauty of the song. The translation is the best part, so I hope you all enjoy the song that defines how I feel right now, and has instantly become one of my favorites.

"Sleep On It"
We've all heard the term "Sleep on it" before. It's a term something someone says to a person when there's something wrong because sleeping usually makes a person feel better. But the more I think about it, why is that? If you're tense when you go to sleep, your body heats up, which is why it's difficult to sleep when it's hot around you. Also, it's been said that sleeping when you are thinking about someone or feeling negative will cause you to dream (something I can't really confirm though, since dreams represent so many various things). Case in point, I had a terrible day yesterday because of a school issue, and I had a tough time falling asleep, but once it happened, it happened quickly, and when I woke up, I felt refreshed and better. I wonder why that is? Does rest really help that much, or is it something more, such as something psychological? As much as I want to know, I know I can't figure it out now, so I'm gonna have to sleep on it and get back to you.

Asian Fanbases
There's an old saying in sports and music that "a fan is just a fan", but I don't believe that's true in either case. U.S fans are great, passionate, and supportive, but I think they differ compared to Asian fans who go all out on everything. Case in point, in the U.S., athletes are cheered and thought of as role models, but in Asia, they're thought of as Gods. If you don't believe me, watch Kobe Bryant's reception when he was in China for the Olympics, or watch Tracy McGrady this past year when he went overseas. Asian fans care a lot to the point where it's almost ridiculous, and it's not just with sports. When it comes to music, they seem more understanding and receptive than Americans. For example, many people in the U.S automatically write off an artist if they didn't write the song themselves or if they aren't what's popular right now, but in Asia, groups I enjoy such as 2PM don't write all their songs, but they are still loved, so I wonder why there are differences? Is it because Americans want true authenticity with their artists, or is it simply that we all have different tastes, and it depends on the person.
I'm not trying to offend anyone or start anything here; this is just an observation I made. But I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Have you seen this trend too? And what do you think of it?

Being There For My Parents
Yesterday, my parents had the second and maybe last yard sale they'll ever have. I say "last" because they barely made any money, which may have them rethinking yard sales in the future. I was right in how I thought things would turn out, but I didn't want to be right because in a perfect world, I would have wanted us to succeed and have yard sales in the future. I know that sounds crazy, especially with how much I've bad mouthed yard sales, but the older I've gotten, the more time I want to spend with my parents, whether it's at a yard sale or just being at home helping out.
I know I'm in the minority in what I'm saying, but I guess I'm traditional. My parents helped their parents out the older they became, and I guess since I'm older now, I want to be a good son to them and help out anyway they can. The mindset of many people my age is that they cannot wait to move out, and while I understand where they're coming from, I don't think it's that bad. Sure, parents can rag on us sometimes, and we do the same to them, but they're always there to support us. And in the end, while it may not seem like it, I think they want what's best for our interest. I know people my age will move on from their parents no matter what, which is fine, since I know someday we'll all have to do it. All I'm saying is to be there for your parents when they need it, and to appreciate the time you have with them because the older you get, the harder it is for things to work out. I'm not always in the mood to be around my parents, but I never question my being there for them. I just hope the older I get, they can count on me, the way I've always counted on them.

Sorry For The Break
As a blogger, I always take pride in the fact that I write about things in a timely manner for others enjoyment, but this month, it's been so difficult because of school and other personal issues. I know these things happen to everyone and are out of our control, but I'm still disappointed I haven't been able to write much recently (especially this past week). Starting today though, I will keep continuing my mission to blog everyday about interesting things. I just hope you all stick along for the ride, since I wouldn't even have a blog if I didn't have the chance to entertain great people like you!

I'm Livin' For The Weekend: My Top 20 Weekenders Episodes
After many months waiting, I have finally finished the list that everyone has been waiting for: My Top 20 Weekenders Episode. This seems like an odd list that would be what everyone has been waiting for, since you think they'd want something film or sports related, but I've looked at my statistics, and they show that people like my TV show posts and The Weekenders. Mix them both together and you got my list.
For those of you who don't know what The Weekenders was/is, it was a TV show that aired on ABC in 1999, during the One Saturday Morning block. The plot of the show revolved around 4 kids, Tino, Lor, Carver, and Tish as they got through their everyday lives with real word issues. But the show had a few trademarks that made it distinct, such as only having things happen during the weekend, and having everyone wear different clothes. Along with that, they also had numerous running gags, such as the local pizza joint changing every episode, Tino's mom's cooking, and everyone misunderstanding Tish's mother. It was a great show, and while it was on, it was one of my favorites. That's why when I finally got the DVDs, I was so excited to re-watch it and experience the memories. It took a long time to do it, but now that I've had the free time to watch every episode and compile it, here's my finalized list.
20. Throwing Carver: Tish takes an art class at the museum, and makes her first masterpiece, a statue of Carver. The only problem is that it's hideous, and the guys (especially Carver) don't know how to tell her. This episode was great because it tackled the real life issue of how to tell someone something hurtful. Although, I wish real life was as funny as this episode.
19. Shoes Of Destiny: Carver gets new shoes and is accepted by "The Cool Kids". Now that he's cool though, he can't hang with his old friends anymore and has a tough decision to make. This episode is here because I can relate to it in so many ways with my struggle to get cool shoes growing up. I never really did to be honest, but luckily, people in college don't care.
18. Super Kids: After a seminar by a snotty, successful kid named Trip Nickerson, the gang decides they aren't doing anything with their lives and decide to try different things. I remember this episode solely for how annoying Trip was yelling all the time, but I felt for him too since he was lonely. The guys way of taking him out in the end was a sweet moment in this episode.
17. To Each His Own: Everyone in the group wants to go to different events that cater to their social interests, but no one is interested in what the other wants to do. This episode screams real life since I think people are always put in situations where they do things they don't want to do. I don't remember much humor in this episode, but I thought it was cool we got to see every person's individual interest.
16. Dead Ringer: Everyone has to sign up for a sport, but Tino's usual choice, chess, isn't there anymore, leaving him helpless until he discovers horseshoes. Too bad it embarrasses him though. This is another episode I could relate to because I stunk at sports back then, and I still do now. I don't even think I'd be good at horseshoes, but I'd love to try.
15. Home@Work: Lor fails another exam, and has to pass her next one or else her dad is sending her off to military school. Can the guys help? I think this episode is hilarious because of how everyone tries to help Lor. And who can forget Tish's annoying scream, along with the fact that video games save the day yet again.
14. Pudding Ball: The guys compete in the annual Pudding Ball competition, except it's Tino and Tish vs.Carver and Lor. Personally, the plot of this episode is one of the simplest in the series, but I just love the whole competition aspect of it, and the fact that it reminded me of laser tag as a child.
13. Murph: After one kid doesn't like Tino, he fears other kids don't like him, but it's only this one kid Murph, which Tino can't understand. Because of this, he tries to do anything to gain his approval, which leads to hilarious and truthful results. This episode speaks to the real life truth that no matter what you do, even if you're not bad, someone will dislike you. Although, painting their house would be a good way to start changing that.
12. Best: Tino doesn't win a "Best" superlative in the yearbook, including "Best Tino", so he and the guys try to find something he's the best at. I think this episode speaks to something everyone has wanted since childhood, just to be good at something. And when you look at it that way, this episode is sweet. Also, how could Tino not win "Best Tino"? He's the best!
11. The Awful Weekend: We start off with the guys messy, injured, tired, etc, yet they can't stop laughing. Why is that the case? And how did they get to where they are? This episode is fantastic to me because it shows how even when life sucks, as long as you have laughter or your friends, you can get through anything.
10. Taking Sides: Carver costs Tino and him the pool championship by showboating, leading to a fight between them, and a rift between Lor and Tish as they must decide who was right. I think the life lesson here is obvious, DON'T SHOWBOAT! But it's hilarious to see Tino and Carver fight, along with Lor and Tish.
9. Tickets: Tino wins tickets to Chumbucket after being the 1,000,001 customer to order from the snack shack, but he can only take one friend, leading to hilarious competition between everyone, agonizing decision making for Tino, and one of my favorite endings of the whole series. Everything is better when you spend it with friends. And always read the fine print! After playing so much Yu-Gi-Oh, I think truer words were never spoken.
8. Lone Wolves Club: Tino is invited to the exclusive and highly desired Lone Wolves Club, but the only way he can be a member is to do embarrassing things and leave his friends. He's okay with doing one of the options, but obviously not the other, leading both parties to question what's right. This episode is really funny because of all the nonsense Tino does, but I think it's high on my list because of the deepness of it. Tino has to decide if he should ditch his friends, and when they find out, they have to realize if it's the best thing for him to leave.
7. Vengeance: Carver is humiliated by this girl named Christy, so for the whole episode he tries to get revenge on her, which he eventually does, but he's too nice a guy to really do anything mean. I loved the ending of this episode since it showed how much of a better person Carver and real people can be when they walk away from a situation. Plus, after seeing him yell "CURSE YOU", that's what I do all the time now.
6. Secret Admirer: Someone has the hots for Carver, and it's driving him crazy trying to figure out who it is, but after he realizes who it is, he's not so happy anymore. This is a sweet episode in the series because it's about love, which I always like. While, it of course has humor because it's an animated TV series, it's serious in handling issues such as being shallow. I do love how in this episode though, we find out Carver's head is pineapple shaped while Tino's is pumpkin shaped.
5. Nevermore: Halloween is here, which Tino is excited for, but the rest of the guys feel too grown up for it. Will Tino spend his holiday alone, or does he have a plan up his sleeve to show his friends the true meaning of Halloween? Out of all the episodes of The Weekenders, this one may be the most memorable because of the setting, which was a spooky living room, and all the lines and jokes in this episode, such as "Creepington, and "I'm Living' For The Weekend". Who could also forget Tino's threats to his friends or his passionate speech? Watching this episode, I was reminded of my own Halloween experiences, which were disasters. This also spoke to me of "It's A Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown", which is the highest compliment I can give anything.
4. Tino's Dad: The final episode of the series, and it's a memorable one to say the least. Tino see's his dad for the first time since the divorce, which he's worried about, but it all turns out fine. After the initial dust has cleared though, he realizes he has no time to spend with him. Usually last episodes are the first on my rankings, but not this time. I enjoy the episode since it truly shows the power of a father-son relationship, as well as friendship, but there were just a few episodes I enjoyed more.
3. Real Fake: The guys are videotaped by a student who tells them to be themselves. By real, the guys think they have to be the people from their favorite TV show Teen Canyon, leading to hilarious and questionable behavior from our protagonists. With the whole reality world craze we're in presently in, I thought this episode was perfect with the acting from all the characters and humor. I just wish real reality shows had heart like this episode did.
2. Makeover: After Lor receives interest from Thompson, she catches the eye of two conceited girls who want to change her to look like a supermodel and get Thompson for good. Luckily, in the end, Lor gets Thompson's attention, and does it by being her beautiful self. I believe this episode is ranked number 2 for me because a guy or girl can relate to it. We all have self esteem issues, but if you're a good person, then your beauty will show. It also shows that you should never change who you are for someone else.
1. Worst Holiday Ever: The gang spends their December holiday together with Lor's granny, only to get stuck in the RV during a snowstorm. It ruins their weekend plans, but they keep each other company by telling their worst holiday experiences, which were all diverse and different. This is my number 1 episode because I love the plot of the episode, the overexaggerated humor, the ending, and being stuck talking with my friends over the holidays is something I always wish could happen.
All I can say after this is "Later Days"! I hope you all enjoyed the post.

Teacher's Responsibilites
I don't like to rag on teacher's much, especially since I almost thought about becoming one, and I know how difficult their job is. They have to teach people who are sometimes rude and unmotivated, and they have to do it for little pay (at least from what I've heard). I'm not even really bashing them this time, but something recently happened to me with a teacher, which I could stand.
The thing that happened between my teacher and I is that I sent her an email, and it took her over 24 hours to reply back. I understand that teachers have lives, and are busy like everyone else, but if you say in your syllabus that we can email you, I expect it to be done quickly, which would be convenient for everyone. Unfortunately, my teacher doesn't check her email on weekends, which isn't helpful, and her syllabus has been confusing. Despite that, I will say that her class has been good so far. She just has her own way of doing things.
My point of this post isn't just to vent my email frustration to everyone. It's to say that teacher's have a responsibility to help their students no matter what. I know college professors/teachers say that a student failing isn't their problem, but it can be if your methodology is unjust, or you don't help the student, such as by not responding to emails. Also, there's teacher evaluations, which colleges really do look at. Like I said, I'm not here to bash teachers; I hate waiting for help that I was promised I would get.

Online Classes
One thing every parent says is that "Education is the key to success". As a child, I dismissed that notion because I knew money was they key to success. Little did I know though, that most people (besides the really fortunate and lucky) need an education to achieve that sort of wealth. So with that, like every child, I went to school. And I did well (especially from 5th grade through middle school). Once high school came along though, I realized I was just an average student, which wasn't a bad thing, but it made getting into good colleges tougher.
I eventually got into college, but it wasn't easy getting in, and it hasn't been easy getting through it being by myself and with difficulty in classes. I think I do okay in the classroom setting, but I dislike the other students sometimes, as well as some teacher's teaching styles. Because that's happened numerously, I've taken a few online courses, which have proven to be surprisingly successful. Whenever I take an online class, I'm always a bit nervous and confused because I still have to get used to everything being online, and I wonder how the teacher sets everything up, but after a few days, I get used to it. The only downside is being motivated sometimes, but I always motivate myself when I have to.
My only downside with online classes and what colleges do is charging extra them (sometimes close to $1,000). I understand colleges need to make money like any business or school, but in my mind, I feel as though they shouldn't charge extra for something we're already paying so much for. Also, there can be some disadvantages, such as if the teacher is bad, or if the internet doesn't work; all things out of our control. I know colleges will never change, but I think it's politically incorrect to charge so much for something that can make the difference between a grade and graduation. Colleges are supposed to help students by giving them an education, but sometimes I question how they can when they take money out of hard working people's pockets. Alas, as my friend said C'est la vie (that's life). I suppose even though my family has to pay more, I'm grateful just to have an alternative to the class I had, and a chance to continue my education. Something not many people are able to do.

Jun. K's Rendition
It seems like monthly I post something that relates to 2PM or K-Pop, but I can't help it. Lately, they've been the only music I've been listening to. This time though is a bit different; I thought I would shine the spotlight on one of 2PM's key members Jun. K (or Junsu as others call him). He's the main vocalist of 2PM that composes amazing songs whenever he tries and has a beautiful singing voice to boot. It's hard to pick my favorite member of 2PM since I like all of them, but if I had to pick one, it'd be Jun. K all day! In the group, he is great, but he sounds great on his own as well, which is why I'm posting this video of him singing Dionne Warwick's "That's What Friends Are For". Yes, I know I could have just posted the original version, but you can find the original version anywhere, and few people know about Jun. K. Also, his singing of the song really made me think of my friends and all the other important people in my life, which was important during this tough transition back to school. Jun. K sounded so good that it brought tears to my eyes. My only wish was that he sung the whole song, but a few minutes of Jun. K singing is better than none. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy one of the best voices I've ever heard, from one of my favorite groups currently. To all the HOTTEST out there, <3!

The Man They Call "Cutch"
Andre McCutchen's play has bought excitement and hope back to the Steel City |
Andrew McCutchen is a five-tool baseball player, which for those of you who don't know, means he can hit for average, hit for power, run, throw, and field. There are very few players like that, which makes McCutchen special already, but along with that he carries himself well on and off the field. Athletes like Johnny "Football" Manziel and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. are praised by so many people, but they don't carry themselves the way McCutchen does. He's a quiet, humble person, and leads his team by example and his play. Along with that, he remembers where he came from, and chose to stay with the original team that drafted him (a rarity in any sport, let alone baseball). Sports analysts think he'll never be a star in Pittsburgh, but he already is!
It's tough for me to pick my favorite baseball player because I have so many from "King" Felix Hernandez, Dustin Pedroia, to Clayton Kershaw, but Andrew McCutchen is something different. And he's been that way ever since he got drafted. With that in mind, I thought I'd show you all an ESPN clip that ran a few days ago, talking about McCutchen's family and life as a Pittsburgh Pirate, which was inspiring to see. I love Andrew McCutchen, but if you don't, you will after watching this video. Enjoy!
Having "Backbone"
Have you ever heard the saying that a person has "backbone"? If you never have, then you must be confused when you hear this question because all humans have backbones (at least I think they do), but this is really an expression. When someone says that a person has "backbone", that means they're strong and are able to deal with adversity. Of course, it helps to have a real backbone too. Unfortunately, I feel like I haven't had any backbone at all recently because of school.
I recently went back to college as those of you who have read my blog know, and started school on Wednesday. The first day wasn't so bad, but yesterday was overwhelming with all the classes I had to take, the work assigned, and the juggling of classes since I was dropping classes to switch into ones last minute. To make things worst, a teacher I had was kind of rude, which did not help the day at all. I started to break down when I got back to my place in Lowell, cause I just didn't have the backbone to deal with everything, but luckily my friends cheered me up.
I have my class schedule finalized now, and while I'm still trying to figure things out, for the first time since I've been back, I feel calm, even though the future is uncertain. I may not always have "backbone" when it comes to school, or when I just feel like crap in general, but when times like that happen, I'm glad I have my friends to support me because they really do help keep me focused and positive. A lot of people try to get through life on their own, and while that's possible, it's very difficult, which is why you should all accept and be grateful of the friends you have in your life. Yes, I know we're all strong people individually, but we wouldn't have "backbones" or be the people we are without friendship.
To my friend's all I can say is thanks you all!

Looking Back At Text Messages
A question I've always had on my mind is if other people are like me when it comes to their phones? When I ask that, I mean, do they do the same things I do on my phone, which are call people, surf the net, or look back at old text messages? I know that the first two examples I gave people do frequently, especially the way newer phones are, but I do wonder if they look at old text messages? I feel like people nowadays are too busy to look back at old text messages, and if they do, it's probably just to check something, not to think or feel happy about something like I do sometimes. Maybe that's a bad thing since it makes me dwell on the past sometimes, but it helps to remember the conversations you had with someone, which to me is important, since sometimes I think we're too busy to pay attention to people and their actions. If that's the case, at least we have their words. People may despise writing or find it tiring at times, but we do it all the time when we text.
My question out of all of this is, do people put a lot of thought into their texts before they send it to people or do they just not care? Also, like I asked above, do they ever look back at text messages? And if so, what reason?

Moved In
I meant to blog yesterday as soon as I moved back in to my small place in Lowell, but I had a difficult time moving in from start all the way to finish. My troubles started at home, where I had to pack so many things last minute like food, shampoo, and I had some other errands to do to, such as pick up my sheets from the laundromat. Luckily, they were all washed, but they were heavy to carry and tired me out. After that, my dad and his friend drove me back to Lowell where they left me to get settled in by myself. I didn't mind that, but I was hungry, so I regretted not going with them to eat. It was probably for the best though since it was so late anyways.
When I moved back in, the first thing I noticed were how many bugs there were (such as spiders and such), so I had to kill all of them until they were demolished. That may sound harsh to some of you, but if you know me or read my other post on bugs, then you know how much I despise them. Once they were all gone, I cleaned and scrubbed my room with lysol wipes and paper towels, cleaning as much as I could. That took forever, and with the humidity, it felt like it was 100 degrees in the room, but I got it done. I took a break after that, then looked at the room as a whole. It was the same room I had when I left in May, but there were a few small changes, such as the radiator being removed to be fixed, and a new refrigerator. I didn't mind the changes, but now I had to figure out how to arrange the room. Doing that didn't take long, but unfortunately, I still had to unpack all my stuff, which seemed like less in the car, but was a ton in my room. That took almost an hour, and had me sweating so much, I had to wipe myself down every few minutes, but I pulled it off. Although I did make some mistakes, such as bringing a blanket sheet instead of a bed sheet, and having no fan, it was nice to finally be moved in and have this episode behind me.
Now, time to focus on school, which starts for me tomorrow. I've already picked up my rented books, which is a relief since I've never rented before, so I was worried how the process would be, but it was smoother than I expected. I've checked my class schedule, and have everything set, so I think I'm ready for school, even though I am worried. Here's to lots of success in and out of the classroom though!
